What Do You Think About That?

What do you think about that?

That.

That word, that.

Like the word thingit is a sneaky, weed-like thing waste of space that nudges, nudging its way in to poison content with needless excess. We think that we need it as a bridging word or we just use it out of habit, but most of the time, the thing truth is that it’s useless.

I admit that there are times that at which you can use such a nagging word in a tasteful and even needed manner. Still, in general, I believe that you should put the word on stand every time it creeps its way into your work. You be the judge. Do you think that it belongs?

Don’t let that weaken your message, because whoever you are, and whatever you need to say, you deserve to say it well. And that’s a fact.
